Meat Administration Trade Awards reveals winners for 2023
The Meat Administration Trade Awards has introduced the winners of its annual awards programme honouring one of the best of the British and Irish meat industries.
Held on the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on twelfth September, the awards ceremony and black-tie dinner highlighted the creativity, innovation and excellence of the UK’s meat trade.
Producers, supermarkets, trade suppliers, commerce organisations, catering butchers, unbiased retailers and excellent people had been amongst these recognised throughout a complete of 20 awards.
Comic and host of this 12 months’s ceremony Mark Watson offered winners with their trophies and certificates.
The coveted Excellence Award title went to Invoice Jermey, chairman of the Institute of Meat. This prestigious award goes to a person who has made an impressive contribution the British meat trade. Jermey’s contribution to coaching and training inside the sector is immense, making him an trade stalwart and worthy winner of this accolade.
One other of the evening’s most prestigious awards, Younger Supervisor of the 12 months, was gained by Grace Walker of Warrendale Wagyu.
Pilgrim’s UK was named Meat Producer of the 12 months, and Waitrose was voted Grocery store / A number of Meat Retailer of the 12 months. Britain’s Finest Butchers Store went to Giglis Butchers located in Lytham St Annes.
